The Fairly OddParents is a Nickelodeon cartoon series created by Butch Hartman, and co-produced by Frederator Studios and (from Season 6 onwards) Billionfold Studios. The show originally started in 1998 as a series of 7-minute shorts, which were broadcasted as part of a talent-hunting TV show called Oh Yeah! Cartoons. These shorts ran until 2001, just a week before the regular series premiered. The show was premiered on March 30, 2001, and kept running until 2006, after airing five seasons. It went on hiatus for almost two years and returned to production in 2008.
The series is about the misadventures of Timmy Turner, a 10 year-old kid who has a miserable life and was assigned two fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, to grant all his wishes. However, there are rules that fairies and godchildren need to follow, and the most important one is that a godchild can't tell anyone about the existence of his fairy godparents, or else they will be taken away forever. Many of Timmy's wishes take a turn for the worst and end up causing disasters (like wreaking havoc upon his natal city, Dimmsdale).
Fairly Odd BabyEdit
In the third act of the first episode of the sixth season, the as-of-yet unnamed fairy baby of Cosmo and Wanda was fed a Fireball Burrito, not knowing what would happen. This results in the baby's diaper to expand to an incredible size before it bursts, resulting in everything being restored to normal.
