'The Duck' is a 1998 nine-minute proof-of-concept film made by Uli Meyer as a pitch for a feature-length movie that was ultimately never made. Mixing live-action together with animation, the short features an animated duck, Clarence, as a superhero in the real world. During a fight with a pair of mobsters, his outfit gets inflated when one of them holds down on his utility belt, and remains helpless for a few moments before it is popped by one of the two mobsters' knife.
