'Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka' is a stage play adaptation of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', originally premiering in 2004 and incorporating songs from the 1971 film adaptation. It has several incarnations, including the original Kennedy Centre version featuring adults, and the school productions 'Willy Wonka Kids' for young children and 'Willy Wonka Junior' for high school.

Violet's transformation in her song 'Chew It' is handled differently in every production, as there are no set instructions; there are those that have the actress wear an inflatable costume, sometimes with a belt or clothes over them; the Arab Theatre production had a separate actress portray Violet as a blueberry in a large Squeak Latex suit.
